What do you do?'I get involved in everything from working with the team on their original ideas and how to bring them to life in the magazine, to going on cover shoots to ensure we get the best, most beautiful image for our front cover every month. I read all the copy and look at the pics for every feature every month, and look at layouts with the art director to make sure every feature is working visually. It's a hugely varied job.'

What do you love about working on IH? 'When I'm out and about and I see people reading Ideal Home, and spending time over it.!'

Worst decorating mistake? 'A vividly yellow bedroom in our previous house. It was meant to feel sunny.'

Most suprising thing? 'I have a small share in a racehorse.'
