White gloss started this trend, but now there are plenty of high-gloss alternatives in a wide range of colours.
• Easy to clean
A high-gloss kitchen is simple to maintain, as fingerprints and greasy marks are easy to see – you'll just need to buff it regularly with an E-cloth to keep it looking its best.
• Break it up
If you're worried about a room being overpowered with just one colour, mix it up a little with wooden worktops. Also, avoid colour overload by keeping accessories metallic or white.
• Finishing touches
Go for minimalist bar handles or handleless push-close units to stay in keeping with this modern look.
