IKEA launches new kitchen measuring service

Make kitchen buying a stress-free experience

In the past if you wanted to buy a kitchen from IKEA, you had to measure up yourself. Now though you can take advantage of the new kitchen measuring service.

IKEA's experts will visit your home and measure the complete dimensions of the kitchen, taking into account walls, fittings and obstructions into account.

To make a plan for your kitchen, you can then either visit the store, or plan your kitchen with the online planning tool.

The service costs £80 but will be refunded in full if the total cost of your kitchen is over £2000.

'We know many customers don't feel comfortable measuring for themselves and we are also aware of the challenge that wrong measurements can cause when it comes to installation', says Paul Kenny, IKEA UK kitchen sales leader.

IKEA also offers a kitchen installation service.
