I’m sure like me you are a garden gnome enthusiast and have fishermen, wizards and even astronauts peeping at you from every corner of your outside arrangements.
I was originally pulled towards the lure of the mystical little creatures after hallucinogenic experience at a church garden party back in the 70s when a suspect solution was dropped in the drinks of the guests. I held a conversation with one gnome in particular who was extremely polite and courteous and was particularly insistent that I help him exterminate a nearby pigeon who had been defecating on him periodically. I naturally obliged using a slingshot, borrowed from the local vicar’s son. That coupled with a fascination of the silent ‘G’ has pushed me to enter this forum topic.
I would like to see more gnomes featured in the Ideal Home garden features. They just add such character to any space and I consider them to be of the utmost class and sophistication. Each one has its individual personality and charm- so come on Ideal Home- lets have a few more of the little fella’s to brighten up our lives!
let people believe in what they want. theres nothing wrong with living a little bit in the fantastical world because this world can be depressing enough sometimes have you not heard of escapism!!!!
Mmmmm...................you're the person that keeps plugging the 'Enchanted Doorways site, and more recently, another site involving pixies and fairies. I would agree there's nothing wrong with escapism, however, I do object to some one quite clearly taking the p.......ss!
